Teaching

The section Economics offers various courses at the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology. The courses generally take place in Erlangen.

At the Bachelor’s level, we participate in the following degree programs:

  • B.A. program in Economics
  • Programs for teaching degrees in Economics for “Gymnasium” and “Realschule”
  • Economics for the B.Sc. program in Mathematical economics
  • Economics as minor

For further information see here.

At the Master’s level, we are responsible for the majority of classes of the institute’s Master program, MA Development Economics and International Studies (MA DEIS). In particular, we are responsible for the core module pairs Research Methods I and II, Development Economics I and II, and International Economics I and II.

We are furthermore involved in the (German-language) Master’s program MA Middle Eastern Studies (MA Nahoststudien). (Further information is available on the German site only.)
