Cooperation with the Universidad de Santiago de Chile
The cooperation in teaching between the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH) and the FAU in the field “Development Economics and International Economic Relations” will be funded in 2018 by the Bavarian Academic Center for Latin America (BAYLAT). An essential part of this cooperation is a mutual export of teaching staff. Prof. Francisco Castañeda from the USACH will teach a course for the students of the Master program “Development Economics and International Studies” in 2018. Prof. Jürgen Kähler PhD and Christoph S. Weber will teach a course at USACH for the students of the Facultad de Administración y Economía. Furthermore, the two universities aim at signing an agreement regarding exchange of students and lecturers.
According to the Webometrics ranking, USACH is the fifth best university in Chile.
