ISAP Exchange Programme with Universidad de Guadalajara
The exchange programme between the Institute of Economics and the Universidad de Guadalajara (UDG) has been selected for support by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). From August 2017 through July 2019, the exchange programme will receive financial assistance by the programme “Internationale Studien- und Ausbildungspartnerschaften” (International Study and Education Partnerships – ISAP). Part of the programme is that each year three students of both universities will be selected for an ISAP scholarship that will allow them to study at the respective partner university. Apart from that, the Mexican students will take part in a German language course before the start of the semester. Furthermore, the programme includes an exchange of teaching staff. From 2017 to 2019, each year one lecturer from UDG will come to Erlangen to teach a course for the students of the MA Development Economics and International Studies. Furthermore, one lecturer will visit UDG both in 2017 and 2019. In 2018, two lecturers will go to Guadalajara to teach courses there.
