Requirements for specific modules

Whether it is necessary to register for specific modules can be found on the respective Univis entry. In general, one does not need to register for lectures, however it is necessary for seminars and exercises.
For participating in the Seminar in Economics, the modules Microeconomics and Macroeconomics must be passed.

Elective modules

For the elective modules, you may choose from different courses from Economics and Business Administration. Actually, the institute offers:

Business Administration

  • Social Entrepreneurship
  • Business Administration III (Accounting, every winter term)
  • Strategic Management (every winter term)
  • International Management (not constantly offered)
  • Sport marketing (every term, online course offered by vhb – Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern)

Economics

  • Advanced seminar in Economics (normally every term; you can participate only if the course is not filled after students who must take the seminar as required module have registered)
  • Economic Policy (every summer term)
  • Monetary Economics (every winter term)
  • Data Science: Econometrics (formerly Praxis of empirical economic research) (every summer term)
  • Social Policy (every summer term)

All mentioned modules may be used for every of the three elective modules, but they can of course only be used once.
